The conference opens with a powerful and symbolic start, setting the tone for a day focused on leadership, change and collective impact.

Through a ceremonial opening led by the Signal Corps, we move from anticipation to momentum — creating a shared moment that brings energy, presence and purpose into the room. This is more than an opening — it is a call to attention. A reminder that the challenges we face are real, interconnected and require action.
Welcome Address
Following the opening, the Mayor of Oslo takes the stage to welcome participants and frame the importance of leadership, collaboration and progress in today’s world.
With a perspective grounded in both society and leadership, the address highlights the role of cities, organisations and individuals in shaping a more resilient, inclusive and forward-looking future.
